Avoid Travel

We know that this is not possible for everyone, but if possible avoid traveling. Travel increases your risk of contracting and spreading the virus.

Small Gatherings

Plan smaller gatherings this year. If possible, plan to only dine with those that live in the same household.

Maintain Distance

We understand that many of us will undoubtedly go see extended family and loved ones, so be sure to practice social distancing. Aim to maintain at least 6 feet apart.

Wear Masks

When not drinking or eating wear a mask. A mask can also help you to avoid touching your face, mouth, and nose.

Go Virtual

Plan a virtual dinner where you can be “with” your loved ones via video

Avoid Large Groups

When possible avoid any kind of large gatherings. Try to keep indoor gatherings to 10 or less and outdoor gatherings to 25 or less.

Wash Your Hands

Wash your hands often and correctly. Remember to always scrub hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds. Use hand sanitizer if running water and soap are not available.

Open Doors and Windows

If the weather permits, open your doors and windows to allow for air flow throughout your indoor space.

Do Not Share

Do not share glasses or utensils. Meaning, do not share anything that came into contact with another person’s mouth.

Stay Home

If you do not feel well or are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19, stay home.

Shop Online

Many stores are only offering their deals online this year and for a good cause! Be sure to plan your shopping trip to your computer rather than to an in-person store.

Planning Your Thanksgiving Celebration

Remember that your loved ones safety is the top priority. Do your best this year to plan a celebration that will keep everyone healthy and happy. Happy Thanksgiving!
